- An empty theater becomes a private exhibition. Surrounding the space are artworks created just for the janitor who is usually unnoticed. Here, the ‘unnoticed’ becomes the guest of honor without ever realizing it. This project questions the role of an audience, the need for validation, and how value around creative work is formed. Art spaces often revolve around attention and recognition, but a secret show challenges that structure. The viewer is someone who never came looking for the experience. Because of this, the project subtly mocks the idea that prestige comes from limited access by pushing exclusivity to its most extreme form. It embraces anonymity, disappearance, and the possibility that meaning can exist quietly, even without recognition.
